What should I do right after losing data?
Stop all writes to the affected media immediately: don't keep saving files or re-scanning with recovery tools; if the drive clicks or isn't recognized, don't power-cycle it repeatedly or open it yourself. Preserve the state and contact a professional lab — that keeps recovery odds highest.
Which cases are recoverable?
Most logical faults (deletion, formatting, lost partitions) and physical faults (head crashes, firmware faults, failed arrays) are recoverable. Even RAID sets with multiple dropped disks or ransomware-encrypted environments can often be largely salvaged via array reassembly, backup remnants and database fragments — subject to lab diagnosis.
How long does recovery take?
Logical faults usually take 1–3 days; open-drive work, firmware repair or complex array reassembly around a week, with rush handling available. You get a firm time commitment after diagnosis.
How is confidentiality ensured?
An NDA is signed before recovery; all work happens in a secure lab with the source media imaged read-only and never written to; working copies are destroyed after delivery as agreed. Proven over years with government, justice, finance and healthcare clients.
